The Deceiving Pyramid

THE DECEIVING PYRAMID

Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun

Just of recent, I learnt some constructed phrases from one of the resource persons I look up to. He said and I quote; "A little thing is a little thing... But faithfulness in a little thing is a great thing". This is quite simple. It means for every vision that will work out in life, it must begin from a little thing.

You see, every vision in life will always appear to you as a pyramid. This pyramid is a symbol of the working out agenda of our visions, and it is needed to be fully studied and understood for sequential arrangement of effectiveness and productivity as well as measurable results of our vision

What is a pyramid?

According to Oxford English dictionary; A pyramid is an ancient massive construction with a square or a rectangular base and four triangular sides meeting in an apex.

What makes it a pyramid is the apex shaped meeting point which was formed at the highest top, also referred to as an edge.

Basically, the pyramid is in phases. The first, second, and the third phase are the base, the pinning body and the edge respectively. If this pyramid can be pictured as a ladder, it means one have to climb and climb before the edge can be reached. The more you climb, the more you realize it's easier to climb because the pyramid will drastically reduce in size the higher you go.

In other to run the rase of our target in vision, we must start from our accessible point. Though climbing the shape we foresee may not be easy but we've got to start from somewhere we can easily access no matter how it appears

However, a pyramid is a deceiving structure that makes you think the beginning is from the end. It is a structure that compels you to have this thought that the impossible can be made possible.

How? The target of every vision is always at the tip of the pyramid. Whereas, the base of the pyramid is much more broader than the tip.
So, while we were still confused in our mind with the thought of where exactly to start from, we suddenly looked up then saw our target at the tip. We became deceived with the thought that we only need to jump and catch our target.

Unfortunately we cannot catch by jumping because the pyramid is not a straight line, and we never realize the need for climbing. So we will eventually become lost in our thoughts.
Dear visionaries, always maintain simplicity on your steps. When you reach a certain point where you have plenty of steps and become confused about which to take, always make the simplest step and then you will discover in time that you are arriving.

Your target is waiting for you....
