(the side effect of success shortcuts)

On MOFYOV today, I want to open your eyes to the importance of having a direct link to success. Beyond reasonable doubts, shortcuts are real, there are short routes a visionary can take on his way to achieving success which will eventually lead to success as predicted, but the real question is; "what kind of success will those routes eventually lead to?"

While I was inspired to write this article, I remembered the Sun Sighting Game we used to play when we were young. We used to play this game out of curiosity to know what was inside the sun that makes it glow. The person  that spend the most time looking at the sun wins the game. Little did I know that there was wisdom hidden in that game, waiting for the right time to inspire young visionaries into real success.

Reflecting on that game, I discovered that it is not an easy thing to keep the naked eyes focused on the sun. At first, those light rays would never becomes clearly seen. But with some endurance, the shining component inside the sun becomes clear.

To make it easier to see the glowing thing inside the sun and win this game, we bought sunglasses to gaze at the sun. This made the game easy and we quickly lost interest in it. The sunglasses made us see what was in the sun without enduring the light rays that made the sun glow.

However, there's this final phase of the game that our attentions were not drawn to. if we were aware of it, maybe we would not have lost interest in the game. That very phase is what exposes the real result from the fake result 

After you have focused your naked eyes on the light rays of the sun for a while, the sun become amazed and will hereby put its signature on your eyes. The moment you have that signature, no matter how you take your eyes off the sun and refocus them, you won't have to go through the rays again until the signature become worn off from your eyes. 

Meanwhile, you can never have the signature of the sun to win more games frequently if your eyes are covered with a sunglass. You will only be full of short term victories; half baked result to be precise! 

Dear visionary, please note that there are shortcut routes to vision fulfilment, but these shortcut routes will only supply you short-term results. Be ready to make all required sacrifices to ensure your success is long lasting.

For instance, I've seen young people who have not taken their time to invest in breeding good relationship with people of like minds. When they get to a juncture where they need to leverage on such relationship in order to impart people with a project, it becomes very difficult, and so they start begging people to help them share their products around, or reach out to the people they need. They couldn't endure what it takes to build long term relationships. They focused on shortcuts and short term conform over longterm relationships!

Have you been comparing your results with others on your path? It looks like they are achieving better results than you are. 

Could it be that you have not being making the sacrifice they are making for those successes?  

Finally, please note that it is a good thing to compare your progress with others in your field. This will help you to brace up as a visionary that share similar passion. However, the right thing to compare is not the results! The right thing to compare is the steps taken, price paid and sacrifices made by others to achieve those results. Please never make that mistake of focusing on the result alone. It's the process that delivered the results that matters. I love you with all my heart and I celebrate your vision.
