Unlearning & Relearning

UNLEARNING AND RELEARNING (The flexibility of acquiring knowledge) Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun There was this man who planned to embark on a journey with his wife. They informed their little boy who was a secondary school student about their journey which would take them  a week before their return. It was usual for the boy to leave home very early in the morning for school before his parent. When he was set for school early that morning, his father told him that he would only drop the key for him if he could take responsibilities of the house which the boy promised to do. So the father told his boy clearly that he would put the only key to the house under the foot mat which was at the main entrance since the boy had once misplaced the spare key to the house. On this note, the boy was happy and he quickly scheduled a lot of plans he wished to do while his parents would be away. On his return from school, he looked under the foot mat but couldn't find the key, then he concluded...

The Placenta

Image
THE PLACENTA (checkmating the nourishing value of the vision) Written by: Oluwatosin Animasahun For every vision I've seen, there has always been a particular point in time when something becomes captured in the thought of the mind of the visionary which usually leads to the proposal, the formation, planning and execution of projects within the context of what was originally captured in the mind. This has been the progressive origin to which visions are birthed. However, I have come to discover that not every vision that has these inspiring records really has what it takes to become a full grown one. Follow me carefully as I make you understand this much more; There are three developmental phases of a vision. There's the formation phase ; when the vision is actually conceived, this usually happens as a result of what was seen, what was heard, or what was felt. The second phase is the nourishing stage ; where you give yourself to studying information and acquiring knowledge that...

The Seed of Tears

Image
THE SEED OF TEARS Written by: Oluwatosin Animasahun Recently, I just kept wondering as I was asking myself the same question over and over again; Why do we cry? Why do we get the pains that make tears roll down our cheeks down to our mouth and water our throat? What is the significance of the sadness that is responsible for the collection of tears out of our retina? This inspired me and I got my answers. Have you come to ask yourself the science behind the teachers who punish their students just to create an atmosphere that initiate a pain into the system of their students? The desperate ones won't stop the punishment until rolling tears are confirmed; the same thing is similar to the parents who punish their children.  We used to think that all of these acts are normal, and most times we usually conclude that such act shows wickedness. But there's an hidden mystery about it. It's call the mystery of sowing tears. Please follow me carefully as I explain further. Every time ...

Not all misconceptions worth proving

Image
NOT ALL MISCONCEPTIONS WORTH PROVING Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun On my write up today, I want to address the men of integrity out there, the women with a large heart, those who build interpersonal relationship with love, commitment and passion, those who engage in the purity of the heart in their dealing with humanity, those who derive their strengths from nurturing the bonds they have with loved ones. I have recently come to discover that the greatest weakness that can ever befall a man of integrity is the misconception of his true love for his loved ones. She's not always at a state of rest whenever her true sense of concern is misinterpreted into selfishness and hatred. Here is this story of two perfect friends, Justina and Margret who find themselves on a road they have never walked before.  They love to hold each other's hand while walking but they were deprived of this act by this very road because it is tiny in nature. They were left with no ch...

The Caged

Image
THE CAGED Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun Waoh! Its good to be back. I can't measure the level of my gratitude toward everyone who checked on me during this special break. There are some breaks which are necessary and are always done consciously for best reasons; this being one of them. Thanks for having my back I got lots of awesome feedbacks from my last motivational writeup "the deceiving pyramid". I was able to see for myself, the pictures of my mind while writing it, turning to realities. Recently, I've been disturbed about seeing people living in the dungeon of manipulation due to the frustrations and circumstances that the environment has kept them. I have been able to engage in different surveys as to what and what has been responsible for this believe system over the years which is quite unfruitful, and even despite this evil report card, people never seize to walk along that path. I see community products who have kept their sense of reaso...

The Deceiving Pyramid

Image
THE DECEIVING PYRAMID Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun Just of recent, I learnt some constructed phrases from one of the resource persons I look up to. He said and I quote; "A little thing is a little thing... But faithfulness in a little thing is a great thing".  This is quite simple. It means for every vision that will work out in life, it must begin from a little thing. You see, every vision in life will always appear to you as a pyramid. This pyramid is a symbol of the working out agenda of our visions, and it is needed to be fully studied and understood for sequential arrangement of effectiveness and productivity as well as measurable results of our vision What is a pyramid? According to Oxford English dictionary; A pyramid is an ancient massive construction with a square or a rectangular base and four triangular sides meeting in an apex. What makes it a pyramid is the apex shaped meeting point which was formed at the highest top, also referred to as an ed...

The Pride of Focus

Image
THE PRIDE OF FOCUS Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun Everyone sure has one or more targets in this race of fulfilling destiny. The length at which we can hold our target as a captive is how people think of us as whether we are successful or not. When you see a small boy who wanted to kill a bird with a stone. He may choose to kill the bird with either by his bare hand or by a catapult. What he choose doesn't measure the assurance of him killing the bird, what measure the assurance of the bird getting killed is the rate at which the small boy maintain his focus by balancing his eyes with his hand; hence the need for the reason why focus must be maintained. Focus is the conscious act of blocking all sources of distraction so that balances required for a particular target is gotten To be focused means something valuable which is worth living for has attracted you and has compelled you to deviate from every other things until the mission is accomplish. So this means focus i...

The Game Changers

Image
THE GAME CHANGERS Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun For every team of any kind of sport, there's always a coach whose part of duty is to stand alert and maintain focus while studying the rudimentary activity of each and every game. He wouldn't bring his guard down anytime a game is on. Why??? Because no matter how perfect, complete, and skillful the players could be, he believes they can still make errors that can create a chance of loosing the game. So he always has a plan of interjecting other players for his advantage as far as the case may be. However, the efficiency of such players depend on whether or not they can meet the arithmetic mean of the coach. If the coach is satisfy with the condition of the game, he wouldn't make any substitution, so any player who is taken in during the middle of a game is expected to change the direction of such game. All eyes are always on them for positive impacts because they are the game changers. This is what gives them stren...

The Strength of Weakness

Image
THE STRENGTH OF WEAKNESS Written by Oluwatosin Animasahun It is no more a new thing that when we are about to bring out our God's given potentials in us for the benefit of mankind, we often groom our cerebrum to centralize his programming on the resultant effect of our strengths. When we see a young guy who conceive a vision and desire a little counsel from us, we normally ask questions like what did you like doing?, what are the things you find very easy to do?, and many more questions that put a target on the strength from our perspective. But have we come to ask ourselves sometimes why we were created with weaknesses???  Weaknesses are not created so that we could have something that will draw us down from normal life, they are not created to become our doom. Recently I've come to discover that weaknesses are actually the strength we mostly needed to make our  visions come through. Why? They are there for us to work upon, they are not good  for u...

Pressures are real but fatal

Image
PRESSURES ARE REAL BUT FATAL Written by: Oluwatosin Animasahun Definitely, Pressure is a report card that certify a project being real within you is ready to be birthed. It is an affirmation that something beautifying is decorating your inside world and is ready to manifest in the outside world. Anytime a vision is trigger by the antennas of our satellite, we become restless. As a matter of fact, the restless movement become involuntary to the extent that we involuntarily activate the reasoning dimension of our cerebrum for constant meditation and programming. We couldn't control all of these things sometimes from within us because certain hormones are responsible for them; being part of the reason why we are human by nature.  However, just because all of these processes explained are natural and most time happen unconsciously does not mean we don't have our way of controlling them. Of course we do, and I will explain. Follow me. You see, pressures are con...
